A História do Pai Natal / The Story of Santa

Existem lacunas na minha memória quando recordo a minha infância. Não me lembro quando deixei de acreditar no Pai Natal. Será que foi assim tão traumático descobrir?

Vida de estudante de Veterinária do 3º ano não é fácil. São em média dois testes por semana (ás vezes três); aulas de duas horas de pé, em que temos de suar a tentar sentar ovelhas/cabras, ou evitar levar coices de cavalos; avaliações orais stressantes, que já deixamos de temer por serem inevitáveis e a imprevisibilidade de todo o dia. Apesar disso adoro! A sensação de acordar e não saber como vai ser o dia, o que nos vai aparecer pela frente, ou os novos desafios que vamos enfrentar e ter de superar.

Claro que o curso é a minha prioridade. Mas não deixo de me sentir um pouco culpada por colocar o Baú em segundo plano. Gosto igualmente de aqui vir. De dizer o que acho sobre este ou aquele livro, partilhar música, ou mesmo chatear-vos com os posts sobre a Disney (desculpem, mas ando viciada).

A verdade é que não tenho lido nada. Estou a ler dois livros ao mesmo tempo, mas por estes dias só o faço em raras ocasiões. Tenho andado a dar prioridade ás séries televisivas. Passei os últimos 6 meses sem ver nada. Assim fica aqui o update do que andei a ver:

- Acabei de ver a última temporada do True Blood;

- Estou quase a apanhar o último episódio do Walking Dead (não é o último, mas eles metem sempre férias até Fevereiro);

- Comecei a ver Mad Men (e estou a gostar bastante);

- Esta semana comecei também a ver "Bunheads", uma série pouco conhecida da criadora das Gilmore Girls, que eu adoro. Até agora estou a gostar, embora me pareça que a a actriz principal é demasiado parecida com a Lorelai Gilmore (não é que eu não goste, mas parece um pouco repetitivo);

- "How I Meet Your Mother", já comecei a oitava série. Estava em stand by há muuuito tempo;

- Filmes da Disney que vi: Brave (Indomável) e achei lindo! O sotaque escocês está mesmo fofinho na versão original e a ausência de um príncipe é algo totalmente "girl power"! (já era sem tempo Disney!);

Previsões para o fim de semana:

Estudar, Estudar, Estudar e tomar conta dos homens da casa.

Talvez no entretanto me apeteça ler...ou então vejo séries.

3rd year Veterinary Student's Life isn't easy. We have on average two tests per week (sometimes three); we have classes in which we spend two hours standing,  or in which we sweat trying to sit a sheep / goat, or avoid taking kicks from horses; oral evaluations are really stressful, though i already lose the fear because they are inevitable. Despite this I love Veterinary Student life! The feeling of waking up and not knowing how the day will be, what will happen or the new challenges we will face and overcome.Of course, the degree is my priority. But I still feel a little guilty for putting the blog in second plan. I like coming here to share what I think about this or that book, share music that I enjoy, or even bother you with posts about Disney (sorry, but I'm addicted).The truth is that latelly I haven't read anything. I'm reading two books at the same time, but these days I only do it on rare occasions. I've been giving priority to tv series. I spent the last 6 months without watching any. So here is the update of what I've been looking at this past days:
- I saw the last season of True Blood; 
- I'm about to catch the last episode of the Walking Dead (not the last one, its only the last before the Christmas break);

 - I started watching Mad Men (and I'm enjoying it a lot);
- This week I also began to see "Bunheads," a serie by the creator of Gilmore Girls, which I love. So far I'm enjoying it, though I think that the lead actress is too similar to Lorelai Gilmore (not that I dislike that, but it seems a bit repetitive); 
- "How I Meet Your Mother". Was on standby for a looong time ago; 
- Disney movies I saw: Brave and found it to be gorgeous! The Scottish accent is so cute on the original version and the absence of a prince is something totally "girl power"! (It was about time Disney!); 

Forecasts for the weekend:
 Study, study, study and take care of the men of the house.Maybe in the meantime I feel like reading ... or maybe watching more tv series.

Estamos em crise. Não é novidade. Acordamos de manhã e ligamos a televisão, crise!; Vamos tomar banho e o shampoo deixou de ser XPTO para ser X, crise!; Vamos ao frigorífico e descobrimos que não temos um único pedaço de queijo não fatiado, crise!; Saímos à rua e optamos por seguir a pé para as aulas, crise!; Crise, crise, crise!

Há uns meses atrás ouvi falar do site Publipt. Não é mais do que um website que nos paga para clicarmos numa série de links de publicidade. Aderi. Confesso que o Google Adsense é muito bonito e fofinho, mas a velocidade a que nos angaria fundos é um disparate. Pelas minhas contas, talvez daqui a 6 anos consiga juntar dinheiro suficiente para finalmente o poder receber em casa...

Assim, para aqueles que gostam de tornar os seus cicks remunerados, fica a sugestão!
